it depends on the guests your inviting. if you have a lot of older people or parents with young kids then yes that could be. older people don’t like to drive, especially on the freeway and then couples with younger children don’t like traveling or leaving their young ones at home far away for an extended period of time. but i’ve been invited to weddings that were 3 hours away, so it just depends on the people your inviting.
not at all.
Not if the wedding is early in the day.
30 mins is acceptable. Most people balk at anything further than that even though it really isn’t that much farther away.
I have no experience.
No, that’s perfectly fine. Anything up to about 45 minutes is generally acceptable, so you should be well within that time.
that is an okay drive, you might want to invest (if the budget allows) to rent what they call a limo bus. it is basically a charter bus but is rented out by a limo company. so while you and your other half drive to the reception in the get away car, you can have your guest all get on the bus. it saves them the hassle of having to drive and find the place.
That is totally fine. If the wedding were in a big city, it may take a half hour to an hour to get from one to the other anyway.
I think anything under 1 hour is fine. Most weddings I’ve been to it’s been about 30 minutes.
I’d say under 30 minutes drive between the two is fine.
30-45 minutes gets tedious but isn’t unreasonable and over 45 minutes makes it a chore and I would avoid that at all costs.
Depends in your guest, I think that twenty minutes is good enough..
